She continued to share how she has learned to live in the moment and thanked everyone who celebrated their special day with them.

As we previously reported, Keshia and Brad announced their engagement last December as they shared photos from their engagement dinner. Brad originally asked the big question last November. At the time Keshia said, “My desire is a lifetime and beyond filled with love & family. My heart is so filled with joy!! So excited to continue to choose each other & our family every day.”

As mentioned before, the couple met on the set of the television film “Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta,” and things took off from there.

Tesla TSLA Q3 2021 car supply numbers

Tesla delivered 241,300 electric vehicles in the third quarter of 2021, the company reported on Saturday.

Deliveries for the quarter exceeded expectations. Analysts predict that Tesla will deliver around 220,900 electric cars by September 30, according to StreetAccount estimates.

The company produced 237,823 cars through September 30, 2021, Tesla said in its report. 228,882 of these were for the Model 3 and Y models, the cheaper mid-range offers.

The remainder amounted to 8,941 of the S and X models.

Last quarter, Tesla shipped 201,250 vehicles and produced 206,421 cars, although production of its S and X models fell below 2,500.

“Our delivery count should be viewed as a bit conservative, as we only count a car as delivered when it is handed over to the customer and all papers are correct. Statement.

Tesla does not break down the delivery figures by model, nor do they have any sales or production figures from China compared to the USA (deliveries are the company’s closest approximation of vehicle sales.)

Elon Musk’s electric vehicle maker now produces cars at its Shanghai facility and its US facility in Fremont, California, while continuing to manufacture batteries domestically with Panasonic at its sprawling facility outside Reno, Nevada.

At the same time, interest in electric vehicles is growing, even in the US, which is lagging behind China and Europe.

According to a June 2021 poll by Pew Research, 39% of Americans say that “the next time they buy a vehicle, there is at least some chance they will seriously consider buying electric vehicles.” About 7% of Americans said they have already bought a battery-only electric or hybrid electric vehicle.

This demand is only stimulated by rising fuel costs and environmental regulations.

In China, for example, government programs are making it much faster and cheaper to get license plates for electric vehicles than vehicles with internal combustion engines. Elizabeth Holmes knew machines weren’t working, says ex-lab director

SAN JOSE, CALIF. — A former lab director at Theranos acknowledged on Friday that he had plenty of opportunities to address his concerns about the company’s technology with former CEO Elizabeth Holmes.

Adam Rosendorff joined Theranos as a lab director in 2013. He testified that he felt the healthcare start-up would become the next Apple. A year later, Rosendorff quit after growing uncomfortable and concerned with the high failure rate of the company’s blood-testing technology.

Rosendorff has emerged as the government’s most critical witness yet. He said that Holmes knew the lab machines were not working as they advertised but pushed ahead with the launch. Under cross-examination on Friday, he told jurors he was “becoming frustrated in my inability to explain discrepant results” when he quit.

This was the fourth week of trial for Holmes, who is fighting 12 charges of wire fraud and conspiracy. Prosecutors allege Holmes and Balwani engaged in a decade-long, multi-million dollar scheme to defraud investors and patients. Holmes and Balwani have pleaded not guilty. Balwani will be tried separately next year.

A defense attorney for Holmes, Lance Wade, has been cross examining Rosendorff for three days trying to poke holes in his recounting of events while he was lab director. Wade cited several emails from physicians who complained about their patients receiving inaccurate test results and Rosendorff was slow to respond.

In an October 2014 email, a doctor wrote to Theranos customer service complaining about his patient who received a concerning test result. The physician asked to speak with Rosendorff.

Rosendorff replied that he would call. But Wade pointed out that a week went by and Rosendorff forgot to return the doctor’s call.

“Everyone makes mistakes,” Wade said.

“Sure,” Rosendorff replied.

Wade also presented internal emails between Rosendorff, Holmes and her top executive Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani which showed that the executives were addressing his concerns.

Balwani wrote a lengthy email in October 2014 addressing the physician who was inquiring about the inaccurate test results for his patient. “Despite all of our best efforts, there will be results that are unexpected,” Balwani wrote to Rosendorff and Holmes.

“No lab is perfect, right?” Wade asked.

“Yes,” replied Rosendorff.

“Every lab makes some errors,” Wade said.

Wade also pointed to a May 2014 meeting Rosendorff had with Holmes about the wide range of hCG results he was getting from the tests. “She seemed pretty calm about the whole thing, she didn’t seem to share my level of alarm,” Rosendorff said.

However Wade pointed to an email that Holmes sent to Balwani about the questionable hCG test results. “How did that happen?” Holmes asked.

Rosendorff was a primary source for former Wall Street Journal reporter John Carreyrou, according to earlier testimony in the trial. Carreyrou broke the Theranos scandal, revealing major accuracy problems with the company in 2015.

In a court filing on Friday, Carreyrou’s attorney argued that he should not be excluded from attending the trial. Carreyrou appears on Holmes’ witness list but has not been subpoenaed. Witnesses are typically prohibited from hearing testimony from other witnesses in the case.

China isn’t complying with section 1 deal, Biden commerce official will say: Sources

Under the agreement, China was supposed to purchase an additional $200 billion in U.S. goods over a two-year period, but the nation has not lived up to that pledge, sources said.

The announcement will represent some of the the Biden administration’s most forceful pushback against China. Tai will deliver remarks Monday on her review of China trade policy in Washington.

It is unclear how the USTR will respond. Sources told CNBC that the USTR is evaluating potential actions against China for its non-compliance, including possible additional tariffs.

Tai’s speech on Monday will mark the last three months of the deal, which was signed by Trump in 2019. It called for China to expand purchases of certain U.S. goods and services from Jan. 1, 2020, through Dec. 31, 2021.

China’s purchases of U.S. exports through August are estimated to be running at about 62% of the trade deal’s targets, Chad Bown, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington, told Reuters.

California to require Covid vaccination for Ok-12 schoolchildren after full FDA approval

California will require students attending school in person to get vaccinated for Covid-19 after the Food and Drug Administration grants full approval for their age group, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Friday.

Newsom’s latest order, the first of its kind nationwide, will roll out in two phases for students learning in person. The mandate will first take effect for students ages 12 and over after the FDA grants full approval to that entire age group.

Pfizer’s Covid vaccine is currently authorized only on an emergency use basis for children ages 12 to 15. The FDA approved the vaccine for kids ages 16 and 17 in August.

Newsom said California will apply the mandate for students ages 12 and up as early as Jan. 1 but possibly as late as July 1 depending on when FDA authorization takes place.

California will then apply the vaccine mandate for students under 12 in a second phase after full FDA authorization takes place for that age group. Pfizer submitted initial trial data to the FDA on children ages 5 to 11 last month and said it would request emergency use authorization in the coming weeks.

The FDA has scheduled a meeting on Oct. 26 to review Pfizer’s application to give shots to that age group, making it possible to start administering Covid vaccines to 5- to 11-year-olds by Halloween or shortly thereafter.

“Currently, we have in the state of California administered at least one dose to 63.5% of all of our young cohort ages 12 to 17,” Newsom said at a press conference. “But we have to do more — 84% of all eligible received one dose, but for 12 to 17, we’re not where we need to be.”

California reported more than 6 million public school students as of April, according to its Department of Education.

Newsom issued a weekly testing mandate for all unvaccinated school staff on Aug. 11. The governor added that he was awaiting further guidance from the Biden administration before enacting a vaccine mandate for all school staff to correspond with the upcoming rollout for students.

Similar testing mandates for California’s employees and health-care workers who refuse to immunize also took effect in early August.

South Korean Web Service Supplier Sues Netflix Over Squid Sport

SK Broadband did not respond to CNBC’s request for comment.
