Let’s fight.”

The women kept going back and forth and met tonight in Atlanta. The fight, uploaded on Twitter, began to develop quickly. In the video you can see both women pulling their hair and Kayla even bites Cubans in the face. Many people commented on the two women fighting.

One user wrote: “Kayla B won Fasho. Their hits linked IDK to what Cuban Doll was doing. “Another user commented,” Kayla, I expected more from you. You are the sister of King Von. You should wear this. Cuban is much smaller than you. They won’t even fight for. “

The Cuban went live on Instagram to delve into the fight when she saw it on a video projector. The Cuban said, “These overcuts didn’t land. They didn’t land. You will see she bit me first. My face wasn’t bleeding. My hand was, all of my nail was really gone. “She kept showing her face, showing that she only had a scratch on her lip.

The Cuban didn’t stop there. She called Kayla’s friend Mad Gal Kris about trying to fight her after fighting Kayla. Kayla went to Twitter to address Kuban’s comments about the biting. She wrote: “She bit my tits, then I had to try to make her a ** back tf.”

Kris also replied when tweeted, “Everyone knows I wanted to fight. That’s why I was so close, but Kayla had that! Next minute you know they’ll say we jump around. “

China’s electrical automobile makers Nio, Xpeng and Li Auto noticed a retreat

SINGAPORE – Chinese electric vehicle makers like Nio, Xpeng and Li Auto are strong companies but their stocks are likely to be corrected, the executive director of an auto consultancy told CNBC this week.

That’s because their stocks have skyrocketed in recent months, said Michael Dunne, CEO of ZoZo Go, which advises automakers on doing business in Asia. He said the stock movement “looks like a bubble” but companies have the potential to become the “Tesla of China”.

There has to be a correction, these are young companies.

“There are merits. There are strong companies built by tech billionaires, much like [Tesla CEO] Elon Musk, “he told CNBC’s Squawk Box Asia on Wednesday.

“There are good reasons to invest in these stocks, but be careful,” he warned. “The stock launches have been sensational over the past three months.”

On Wednesday, Nio shares, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, closed at $ 62.15, up more than 1,500% year over year. The stock rose roughly 187% over the past three months, while the NYSE-listed Xpeng rose 163% and the Nasdaq-listed Li Auto rose 83%.

“There has to be a fix. These are young companies,” said Dunne.

Li Auto and Xpeng went public in July and August, respectively, while Nio went public in 2018. And the companies lag far behind the market leader Tesla in terms of market capitalization and vehicle deliveries.

Dunne said Chinese automakers need to focus on the domestic market.

“To be truly successful, these companies – Xpeng, Nio, Li Auto, and others – have to succeed at home first,” he said.

They are not welcomed in the US for political reasons, and Europeans will “be very tough on the Chinese as they were on the Japanese and Koreans before them,” he added.

“So look to the Chinese to focus their efforts on their home market, which is after all the largest in the world and has all kinds of potential at the top and bottom,” he said.

Trump condemns the Capitol rebellion as he faces the second impeachment trial

A week after his supporters stormed Capitol Hill in a deadly riot and hours after his second impeachment in the House of Representatives, President Donald Trump on Wednesday pronounced his strongest condemnation to date of the January 6 violence.

“I want to be very clear. I clearly condemn the violence we saw last week. Violence and vandalism have absolutely no place in our country and no place in our movement,” Trump said in a video posted on White’s official Twitter House was posted account.

Trump took no responsibility for the attacks.

The five-minute video in which Trump appears to be speaking from the Oval Office’s Resolute Desk came as the President faces an impending Senate trial.

Democrats have pushed for Trump’s immediate impeachment, arguing that his presence in power poses a “clear and present threat” to the nation. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Said he was undecided how to vote in the process.

Trump’s message also comes as federal agencies and the District of Columbia Attorney General haven’t ruled out Trump being prosecuted for inciting the crowd of his supporters who have invaded the Capitol.

The president’s own Twitter account had been permanently banned days earlier in response to his initial reactions to this invasion.

As his supporters flocked to the Capitol and derailed a joint congressional session shortly after the process of confirming President-elect Joe Biden’s victory began, Trump tweeted an attack on Vice President Mike Pence, who was leading the event.

Trump had pressured Pence to try to reverse the election results and put additional pressure on Pence during a rally in front of thousands of his supporters outside the White House just before Congress convened to validate the electoral college’s votes. Many of these supporters went straight to the Capitol after the president’s speech.

On the same day, Trump, in a video posted on social media, urged his followers to “go home” while re-launching the false conspiracy theory that his election had been stolen.

“So go home. We love you. You are very special. You saw what happened. You see how others are treated who are so bad and so angry,” Trump said in this video.

Five people, including a US Capitol police officer, died as a result of the siege of the building. Lawmakers and others, including Pence, were forced to vacate their respective chambers and hide from the crowd for hours as rioters demolished offices, stole property, and clashed with law enforcement agencies.

The Justice Department has charged more than 70 people in the riot and opened more than 170 investigations. Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen said more arrests are coming.

Democrats moved at unprecedented speed to draft an impeachment article against Trump for inciting a riot. On Wednesday afternoon, the article was passed by 232 to 197 votes, with 10 Republicans voting against Trump.

Trump had only defended his statements at the rally before the uprising on Tuesday.

“People thought what I was saying was perfectly fair,” Trump claimed, although many of his own supporters in Congress, including Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., Said the president was responsible for the mob .

Trump in his recent remarks made no mention of his rally last Wednesday in which he turned his supporters on the Capitol after making a series of false and misleading allegations about election fraud. Nor did he mention his last impeachment, which came less than a week before Biden’s inauguration.

But he said there should be no political violence or vandalism and that “those who participated in the attacks last week will be brought to justice”.

“No true follower of mine could ever advocate political violence. No true follower of mine could ever disregard law enforcement or our great American flag. No true follower of mine could ever threaten or harass their fellow Americans,” Trump said in the video.

Media such as the Washington Post reported that Trump was difficult to contact during the crisis in the Capitol, also because he was watching the chaos live on television.

The president, a heavy social media user whose online presence was largely wiped out after the uprising, also condemned “the unprecedented attack on freedom of expression we have seen in recent days”.

“These are tense and difficult times. Efforts to censor, cancel, and blacklist our fellow citizens are wrong,” he said. “What we need now is that we listen to one another and not silence one another.”

Trump has acknowledged that Biden’s administration will soon take over, but he has not yet officially conceded the race to the Democrat.

Officials have raised concerns that before Biden’s inauguration, there could be more mob violence in Washington and other state capitals. The National Guard was stationed in the Capitol and produced stunning images of groups of uniformed service members resting in hallways and against pillars in the heart of the US government.

Economists have minimize projections for Malaysia’s development in 2021 as a result of Covid lockdown

SINGAPORE – Several economists have cut their growth forecasts for Malaysia for 2021 after the country announced stricter measures to contain a recent surge in Covid-19 cases.

The Malaysian government imposed a nationwide interstate travel ban and a ban on six states and territories for two weeks from Wednesday. The king of the country also declared a state of emergency which will last until August 1 or earlier if Covid cases are effectively lowered.

Here are some economists who have cut their forecasts for Malaysia:

  • Capital Economics, a consulting firm, said the Southeast Asian country will grow 7% this year, up from its previous forecast of 10%;
  • The Singaporean bank UOB downgraded its forecast from 6% to 5%;
  • The Japanese bank Mizuho lowered its forecast from 6.7% to 5.9%;
  • Fitch Solutions has lowered its forecast from 11.5% to 10%.

Malaysia was one of the worst performing economies in Asia over the past year. The International Monetary Fund announced in October that the Malaysian economy would contract 6% in 2020, up from 4.3% last year.

Alex Holmes, Asian economist with Capital Economics, said in a report Tuesday that Malaysia’s recent lockdown “is likely to hit the economy hard”. He pointed out that the six restricted states and areas – including the capital Kuala Lumper and Malaysia’s richest state, Selangor – account for 57% of the population and 65% of the gross domestic product.

The lockdown – known locally as a movement control order or MCO – includes banning all social gatherings and dine-ins, closing schools, and opening only “essential” businesses.

Most of the rest of the country has been made less stringent, with most companies allowed to operate but prohibited activities involving large gatherings.

UOB economists said in a Wednesday report that their growth forecast downgrade assumed the restrictions would be extended for another four weeks through the end of February. However, the macroeconomic impact of the latest measures is likely to be “less severe” than last year when the whole country was locked down, the economists added.

‘Blessing in disguise’

The state of emergency declared on Tuesday shook the country’s stocks and currency.

But the move will remove the short-term political uncertainty the country has struggled with over the past year – and that could be “a blessing in disguise” for the Malaysian ringgit, said Lavanya Venkateswaran, market economist at Mizuho.

The currency was down 0.5% against the US dollar in response to Tuesday’s state of emergency announcement. Since then it has strengthened against the greenback and has more than made up for these losses.

Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said that in a state of emergency there would be no curfew and that the government and judicial system would continue to function. But parliament will be suspended and elections cannot be held, he said.

Muhyiddin came to power in March last year and has been increasingly called on by his ruling coalition to resign and make way for an early election.

The emergency statement “removes unnecessary and self-inflicted political uncertainties that could jeopardize the political response to the COVID resurgence,” Venkateswaran wrote in a report on Tuesday.

“Instead a stable political platform to (the) An emergency pandemic is ultimately positive in getting the economy going again. “ She said.

President Donald Trump charged for the second time: Hollywood reacts

Donald Trump is the first U.S. president to be charged twice, and Hollywood broadly supports the historic move. Some even have jokes.

On Wednesday, January 13, a majority of 232 members of the House of Representatives, including 10 members of Trump’s Republican Party, voted to charge him with “inciting insurrection” after numerous of his supporters flooded the Capitol last week. The impeachment article also states that he “should be re-indicted, removed and excluded from public office”.

“I didn’t even know you could be tried twice,” he tweeted Chrissy Teigencelebrating with her husband on the streets of Los Angeles John Legend and thousands of other people after Trump lost the 2020 election Joe Biden last November. “I thought it was like dying.”

Five people were killed a week ago and lawmakers fearful for their lives tried to hide when pro-Trump mobs stormed the Capitol in an attempt to disrupt certification of the 2020 election results. Shortly before the riots, Trump gave a rousing speech to his supporters in which he repeated false claims that the election was fraudulent. He said, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching to the Capitol to peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard.” And added: “We fight like hell and if you don’t fight like hell, you are not going to have a country anymore.”

Hours after he was charged on Wednesday, Trump posted a video titled “I clearly condemn the violence we saw last week.”

“If impeachment isn’t enough, Damn his new crimes – indict him twice!” longtime vocal Trump critic Star Wars actor Mark Hamill tweeted. “# DarnOldDonald.”

In accordance with Jim Cramer, Intel Shakeup creates shopping for alternatives from AMD

CNBC’s Jim Cramer hit one of his favorite semiconductor companies on the table after stocks were informed of a leadership change at one of its top competitors, Intel.

Advanced Micro Devices shares fell nearly 4% after Intel announced it would replace its chief executive in one month. Intel stock rose 7% as investors welcomed news that current CEO Bob Swan would step down to take over from Pat Gelsinger, an Intel alum who heads VMware, in February.

“As much as Intel needs a change, the important thing here is that you get the chance now to buy Intel’s more agile rival AMD for more than $ 3 for something that may not happen: a turnaround at Intel within the next three Years ago, “said the Mad Money host. “Gelsinger did a good job at VMware, but Intel doesn’t need an old Intel hand. It takes someone new, young, and hungry who can shake up, if not blow up, the culture.”

At AMD, buyers would get a piece of a $ 110.4 billion company whose shares nearly doubled over the past year. Shares of Intel, a larger company with a market capitalization of $ 233.4 billion, fell more than 16% in 2020 as the company reported a delay in new chip development and lost a key partnership with Apple.

Before these problems, companies like AMD and Samsung began to gain market share from Intel.

Cramer, who applauded AMD CEO Lisa Su for her responsibility for the graphics chip maker, also reiterated his love for Nvidia, a $ 335 billion semiconductor player.

“I’d much rather buy the stock of a company that beats Intel to a pulp, AMD,” said Cramer. “Under the incredible leadership of Lisa Su, they have evolved from a semiconductor that also operates – always second fiddle to Intel – into one that makes better chips.”

The comments came after a mixed day of stock trading on Wall Street. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the session down 8 points, or about 0.03%, at 31,060.47. Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite extended their gains from Tuesday, up 0.23% to 3,809.84 and 0.43% to 13,128.95, respectively.

The three averages remain in the red week to this day.

Shock recovers after the November hunch

Shoppers make their way through the Grand Coastal Mall on Black Friday as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic continues on November 27, 2020 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA.

Micah Green | Reuters

Reluctant shoppers found they couldn’t avoid the mall during the vacation.

A data analysis released this week by Placer.ai shows how shopper visits to shopping malls have subsided amid the Covid pandemic. The research firm, which uses cell phone data to track consumer behavior, surveyed pedestrian traffic in more than two dozen “top tier” malls across the country during the year.

Visits to the tracked shopping malls, which Placer.ai refused to name, peaked in February before the pandemic, up 10.7% from 2019. In March – when retail stores and malls closed to slow the spread of Covid – visits fell 59.5%. A year-on-year decline of 95.9% followed in April, marking a low point.

During the summer months, when Americans were feeling a little more comfortable leaving the house, visits to these shopping centers steadily recovered from month to month into the fall. But a revival in Covid cases hit traffic in November, leading some to believe that U.S. malls would be particularly bleak in the final weeks of the year.

A surprise came in December, however, when visits recovered. Some procrastinators had no choice but to hit the mall in the last few days before Christmas for last minute gifts. The upward trend shows that malls still play a role as a convenient shopping option for some consumers.

“The immediate nature of the recovery after Black Friday, the strength in early 2020 and the height in 2020 in exceptionally difficult circumstances confirm the idea that 2021 could be a lot friendlier for malls than many expect,” said Ethan Chernofsky, vice president of marketing at Placer.ai said in the report.

However, this report only analyzed traffic in the top performing malls in the US – likely owned by Simon Property Group or Brookfield Property Partners, which operate some of the most valuable malls in the country. The picture was certainly darker elsewhere.

Two shopping center owners, CBL & Associates and Pennsylvania REIT, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2020. The latter has since surfaced. But shopping center owners are under pressure again in the New Year as tenants continue to ask for rent relief after the holidays or plan additional store closings.

“It’s a total renters market,” said Tom Mullaney, director of restructuring services at commercial real estate services company JLL. “Landlords are told that you can either drop ‘X’ or I’ll just leave.”

Visits appear to be heavier at outdoor centers, where many Americans have been more comfortable during the pandemic.

In a presentation this week at the annual ICR conference, the Tanger Factory Outlet Centers said that traffic fell back to about 90% of 2019 levels during the fourth fiscal quarter. The Real Estate Investment Trust owns outdoor outlet centers in cities such as Daytona Beach, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina.

Some retailers this week also discussed their plans not to invest in malls due to rapidly changing shopping patterns.

“Not many people out there want to invest in business today [at] Especially in the mall because we’re waiting for this dust to settle, “said Scott Lipesky, CFO of Abercrombie & Fitch, during an ICR presentation.” We will retire this year. We did not get [to 2021] yet … but our real estate investments are likely to decline. “

Jerome Griffith, CEO of Lands’ End, said in a separate presentation that the clothing retailer’s typical expansion plans – opening 10 to 15 stores annually – are being put on hold for the foreseeable future.

“We don’t see any traffic,” said Griffith. “So we’ll see how consumers react to bricks and mortar when things are a little more open. And then, if it makes sense to think again, we’ll do it at this point.”

YouTube bans Trump’s account and blocks uploads and feedback

Google has blocked President Donald Trump’s YouTube account and officially warned the White House against using the world’s largest video platform.

The company announced Tuesday evening that Trump uploaded content that violated its guidelines, resulting in an automatic one-strike, resulting in at least a seven-day pause in uploading new content. It says it also disable the comments section.

The company did not disclose which videos violated its guidelines, but said it was “content” that included comments Trump made Tuesday morning. YouTube has violated guidelines prohibiting content intended to incite violence.

Donald J. Trump’s YouTube account has 2.77 million subscribers and usually publishes several videos of him and right-wing media outlets every day.

As part of YouTube’s three strike system, a channel is closed for one week after the first strike, two after the second and after a third strike within 90 days. The temporary suspension means that Trump’s account and existing videos will still be accessible, but he will not be able to upload any new content.

“Following a review and given concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we have removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies,” the company said in a statement on social media on Tuesday evening. “Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also indefinitely turn off comments on President Trump’s channel, as we have on other channels where security concerns can be found in the comments section.”

A company spokesman said it also removed videos from the White House’s YouTube account, but instead of an initial strike, the company issued a warning because “there wasn’t the same story of violent content on this channel, but there was more violent content should receive. ” Uploaded to the channel, it would be on strike as per our guidelines. “

Google’s YouTube announced Thursday that “all channels” that post new videos with false claims in violation of its guidelines will be suspended – a first strike – instead of warning them first. Later on Thursday, Alphabet employees urged YouTube executives to take further action against the president. They criticized them for not blocking his account, arguing that it would incite further misinformation and violence.

The suspension of Trump’s account by YouTube comes after the violence in the US Capitol by some Trump supporters on Wednesday, in which five people died. Politicians and the public have urged social media and tech companies to more closely moderate their platforms threatened by further violence.

Twitter and Facebook announced that they would permanently suspend Trump’s account on their respective platforms – Twitter. However, Trump found a workaround and began tweeting the state @POTUS account late Friday before that account was suspended.

Google also removed Parler, a social media app popular with Trump supporters, from the Google Play Store on Friday, making it significantly more difficult for Android users to download and access the app.

YouTube is unique in other social networks as videos can be shared on other platforms and thus have a large reach.

Clarification: YouTube’s announcement on Twitter was Tuesday night. An earlier version had the wrong tag in a reference.

Dr. Dre’s estranged spouse accuses him of holding a gun to his head in divorce papers filed days earlier than he was hospitalized (replace)

Roommate, we’re still sending prayers for Dr. Dre, as he’s staying in intensive care after suffering from a brain aneurysm last week. Unfortunately, his divorce proceedings are still ongoing and new allegations in the battle have come to light.

According to Daily Mail court documents, Dre’s estranged wife, Nicole Young, claims he physically abused her throughout their marriage. Nicole claims Dre held a gun to his head, punched her in the face, and hit her against a wall in 2000 and 2001.

According to reports, Nicole submitted the documents just days before Dre was rushed to the hospital with a brain aneurysm.

“I have stated that I am detailing the abuse that Andre has committed against me in our more than 25-year relationship in excruciating and painful detail,” Nicole said in the documents. “Andre held a gun to my head twice, on January 8, 2000 and November 20, 2001. Andre hit me twice in the head / face in 1999 and January 8, 2000.”

Nicole went on to describe an incident in which Dre. Dre allegedly kicked in a bedroom door to get to her.

“Andre kicked the door to a bedroom where I was hiding from his anger in 2016. Andre verbally and emotionally decimated my personality so much that I am currently suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder,” she said.

Things seemed to be moving in a more positive direction last week when we reported that Dr. Dre agreed to temporarily pay Nicole $ 2 million in spousal support upon admission to ICU!

We hope that during this time these two things will work for the benefit of Dr. Dre’s health by mutual agreement.

Britain urges labor camps in Xinjiang, accuses China of “torture”

Dominic Raab, First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, walks to Downing Street on September 3, 2019 in London, England.

Leon Neal | Getty Images News | Getty Images

LONDON – The UK has put in place new measures to eradicate the presence of suspected forced labor in UK supply chains in China’s Xinjiang region.

China is accused of extrajudicial detention over 1 million Uyghur Muslims and other minorities in political re-education camps in the Northwest Autonomous Region, along with invasive surveillance, restrictions on Uyghur culture and the use of forced labor.

China firmly denies the allegations, claiming that the centers are aimed at combating extremism and promoting professional skills development.

British Foreign Secretary Dominic announced that companies with annual sales in excess of £ 36 million (US $ 49.2 million) that fail to demonstrate adequate diligence in ensuring the forced labor of their supply chains under the Modern Slavery Act are now being fined Raab an in the House of Commons on Tuesday.

“We need to make sure that UK companies are not part of the supply chains that lead to the gates of detention camps in Xinjiang and that the products of human rights abuses that take place in those camps do not make it to the US supermarket shelves where we week.” shop here at home for a week, “said Raab.

The government will also launch an urgent review of export controls to prevent exports that could lead to human rights abuses, issue new guidelines for businesses operating in the region, and extend the Modern Slavery Act to the public sector unless businesses are forced out of industrial relations public contracts.

“Really terrible”

Raab claimed the evidence is now “extensive” and “paints a truly harrowing picture”, accusing China of operating internment camps, arbitrary detentions, political re-education, forced labor, torture and forced sterilization on an industrial scale.

“It’s really terrible – the barbarism we had hoped was lost in another era that is practiced today as we speak in one of the leading members of the international community,” he added.

Raab cited first-hand reports from diplomats and escaped victims, satellite images of factories in internment camps and the destruction of mosques, and reports from third parties from the UN Commission on Human Rights, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.

A spokesman for the Chinese embassy in London did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.

Raab stressed that China’s refusal to allow access to a UN human rights officer or any other credible external agency was inconsistent with these claims.

“China cannot simply deny access to trusted third party agencies that can verify the facts while maintaining a position of credible denial,” he added.

A protester outside the White House urges the United States to take action to stop the suppression of the Uyghurs and other Turkish peoples on August 14, 2020 in Washington, DC.

Raab’s actions have stopped sanctioning individual Chinese officials for their involvement in the alleged atrocities, and Labour’s shadow foreign minister Lisa Nandy alleged that her counterpart had not gone far enough, likening Raab’s actions to “tinkering with the margins”.

The presence of forced labor in international supply chains has been the target of a number of large governments in recent years. In late 2020, several US companies came under fire for allegedly lobbying to weaken a bipartisan bill banning imports from Xinjiang.

“Some US politicians have invented disinformation about so-called ‘forced labor’ in order to restrict and suppress relevant parties and companies in China and to curb China’s development,” Hua Chunying, spokesman for the Chinese State Department, told CNBC in December.

“All ethnic groups in Xinjiang choose their occupations at their own will and sign ’employment contracts’ based on equality of their own choosing.”
