Was the Gray’s Anatomy Musical Ep actually that unhealthy?

In a show with over 370 episodes there are bound to be some guys.

There will also be some experiments that went wrong. This is how we could describe the Season 7 episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “Song Beneath the Song”. You may know this episode better by the unofficial title The Musical Episode.

The episode starts with Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) wake up with their face in an airbag. You and Callie (Sara Ramirez) were just in a car accident and pregnant Callie is half in the car, half through the windshield. For the rest of the episode, she’s in a coma, imagining herself and everyone else singing in the hospital. It’s an experience to say the least.

Today, March 31, 2021, this episode marks the 10th anniversary and is the creator of the show Shonda Rhimes celebrated the milestone with a tweet and behind-the-scenes video in which Ramirez performed one of the songs.

“Today marks the anniversary of one of my most memorable moments on Grey’s Anatomy,” she wrote. “Easily in my top 10. This musical episode reminds me of all the fun we used to have on set. A great experience. So grateful.”
