Ted Cruz’s former runner-up Carly Fiorina is totally escaping him

In 2016, Ted Cruz was the last man who tried to stop Donald Trump from securing the nomination. Late in the game, he took desperate steps to temper his campaign by naming Carly Fiorina as his running mate.
