Southside arrested on gun fees in South Florida

Southside, whose real name was Joshua Luellen, was arrested in Aventura on Sunday. He was later released for a $ 5,500 bond.

According to NBC 6 Miami, the arrest reports state that Southside was arrested for carrying a hidden firearm and knowingly driving with a driver’s license.

An officer drove over his Mercedes SUV after being seen driving with a “heavily tinted windshield”. Records later showed that his driver’s license had been suspended since May 2019.

The report also states that at the time of his arrest he had two fully loaded handguns with him, one between his shoes and one in the hallway behind the passenger seat. Records also showed that his clandestine gun license was suspended for reasons unknown.

The officer said in the arrest report, “I told Joshua that he was violating his CCW permit by keeping the firearms within reach and not locked in the glove box or a box in the vehicle.”

At this point, Southside has not yet discussed the arrest.

He is best known for producing records for artists such as G Herbo, Meek Mill, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Future and many other artists. Southside is also known for his relationship with rapper Yung Miami from the City Girls, who share a 1-year-old daughter.
