Spokesman Pelosi said: “Regarding the recognition of the threat from within, I am still deeply concerned about the acceptance of extreme conspiracy theorists by the House of Republican leadership, about their willingness to accept a Qanon follower, a 9/11 Truther, a molester of To give school shooting victims and reward them valuable committee positions, including those who could imagine they would put such a person on the education committee. The House will vote to remove Representative Greene from her positions. It is unfortunate. You would think that the Republican leadership in Congress would have some responsibility to this institution. Like they did when they weren’t looking for a representative King of Iowa. For some reason, despite the fact that we gave to Mr Hoyer, they decided not to go that route – Mr Hoyer sufficiently advised Leader McCarthy that this is a route that we would follow. “

McCarthy has tried to claim that this is a democratic takeover. The House minority leader seeks political gain by assisting a person under investigation to aid the insurrection and attack on the Capitol.

Several members of the House have raised concerns about the security risks posed by Greene.

Instead of raising their profile in the House of Representatives, the Democrats are taking steps to ensure that no platform is created to destabilize Congress from within.
