Meghan Markle “needs” she may attend Prince Philip’s funeral

This week Harry returned to the UK and their married home at Frogmore Cottage, where the prince is quarantined ahead of the Duke’s funeral.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, only 30 people are allowed to attend Prince Philip’s funeral services at St. George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle this Saturday. A Buckingham Palace spokesman said Philip’s family members, including his children and grandchildren, are expected to be in attendance.

Members of the public cannot join the procession or watch from the palace grounds, but the services are broadcast.

Although many people will miss the Duke of Edinburgh, none are as sad as the Queen Prince Andrew. Last weekend the king told reporters that his mother “probably feels it more than anyone else”.
