Lil Nas X responds to individuals who say its success was because of its sexual orientation

Lil Nas X has been in the headlines a lot lately, and that may not change anytime soon.

On Tuesday, the rapper took to social media to target those who have said his success is based on his sexuality. He went on Twitter and wrote, “You love to say I’m gay in order to succeed, but I can’t name 5 successful gay male artists in the past 10 years to save your life.”

One commenter replied, saying, “God, you’re so sad, how don’t you even realize you’re rejecting all the gay artists who came before your a **?” Then he replied and said, “I don’t dislike anyone. I acknowledge the fact that we are usually not as successful as our colleagues. What isn’t Starbucks Spellman clicking?

Another person followed and said, “I just wouldn’t say you’re gay to be successful … BUT you use being gay, you’re all the identity and artistry, it’s tired.”

Lil Nas X replied, “It’s a million nicks like the industry doing nothing but songs about women and you aren’t complaining, but I’m doing my first song about a n *** a and now it’s my entire Art. You’re gonna drive me crazy man “

If you remember, his latest song, “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, was quite controversial. After reaching first place on the global Spotify chart, the song appears to have been removed.

Last week he replied to a fan who said they were having trouble streaming the song on Spotify. Nas, aware of the problem, replied with a tweet: “It happens on all streaming services” with the sad face emoji.

Columbia Records released a statement on the song. “Thank you for all of your comments on @LilNasX” Montero (call me by your name). “It’s out of our control, unfortunately, but we’re doing everything we can to keep the song updated via streaming services. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear more. Thank you for your understanding.”

As you also know, a judge stopped manufacturing his “Satan Shoes” after Nike filed a lawsuit against the company that made them.
