Julianna Margulies reveals why she turned down ER’s $ 27 million provide

In a clip of the actress’ upcoming appearance on Oprah WinfreyJulianna, the Super Soul show that airs on Discovery + on Saturday May 1st, announces that she has been offered $ 27 million to stay in medical drama for two more seasons.

At this point, the ER star had already appeared alongside Carol Hathaway for six seasons George ClooneyDoug Ross and was ready to try something new. She shares, “I went back to New York to play this piece and then all the money came up. Everyone I asked said, ‘You were crazy [not to]. Take the money, take the money ‘”

But she says that she had already made up her mind to quit and said, “I felt very alone because I had already planned what I was going to do before they offered me this money. I had planned my life.”

Instead of taking the advice of her friends, she asked the universe for a sign telling her what to do.
