Instead, with her companion at dinner, “we were determined to still meet up and catch up,” Gellar shared on Instagram.

And at the upscale sushi restaurant Asanebo, Gellar did something that Prinze left on the floor. “A lot of girls back then in Hollywood – as far as the actresses are concerned – ate nothing. They ate salad,” the once aspiring chef recalled in a 2016 Facebook Live interview. She ate everything including a crab that they ran across the counter, then killed while living in some oil and said, ‘It’s popcorn, try.’ ”

When she put the crustacean in her mouth, everything kind of clicked: “I said, ‘Yo, my girl is real.'”
