DMX has reportedly been in essential situation following an overdose

The overdose occurred at his home around 11:00 p.m. on Friday, according to TMZ, and sources close to the situation say they caused a heart attack. The DMZ has reportedly been rushed to a hospital in White Plains, New York and is currently in intensive care.

Sources tell TMZ that DMX is currently in a “vegetative state” but still has “some brain activity.”

Celebrities and friends of DMX sent prayers and congratulations to him during this difficult time, and many fans have expressed concern for his well-being.

DMX has struggled with substance abuse for many years, and we previously reported that he checked into rehab again in 2019. A message posted on his Instagram page in October 2019 revealed that he would voluntarily return to rehab and skip the rest of the tour he was with Three 6 Mafia.
