“But you’re Asian,” Jeremy Kim heard a lot as an adult.

People say it every time they find out that an Asian person doesn’t want to be a doctor or isn’t good at math, according to Kim, founder of the Hard Seltzer Company Nectar.

Along with two co-founders, Kim began producing Nectar in December 2020 after scraping together their last $ 20,000.

Check out this video to see how the company was started and to learn more about their unique marketing strategy.
