College of Kentucky basketball star Terrence Clarke dies on the age of 19 after a automobile accident

We extend our deepest condolences to the relatives of the University of Kentucky basketball player Terrence Clarke, who sadly died on Thursday in a car accident in Los Angeles.

The university confirmed his death, noting that he had just completed his first season and was preparing for the 2021 NBA draft.

According to ESPN, the Los Angeles Police Department gave Sgt. John Matassa details of the accident and said, “The incident was captured on surveillance tape. He collided with another vehicle preparing to make a left turn. He hit the vehicle, hit a street lamp post and finally hit a block wall. “He was taken to Northridge Hospital, where he was unfortunately declared deceased.

The news of his death sent shock waves across the sports world. Commenting on his death, LeBron James said: “REST IN PARADISE NEPHEW !!!”

Kentucky coach John Calipari also spoke of Terrence’s death, saying, “I’m absolutely disappointed and sick tonight. A young person we all love simply lost his life too soon, one with all his dreams and hopes ahead of him. Terrence Clarke was a beautiful child, someone who owned the room with his personality, smile and joy. People were drawn to him, and hearing that we lost him is hard for all of us to understand right now. We are all in shock. “

Terrence had just announced that he had signed with the popular sports agency Klutch Sports. Rich Paul, the agency’s CEO, said, “We are saddened and devastated by the tragic loss of Terrence Clarke. Terrence was an incredible, hardworking young man. He was excited for what was ahead and ready to fulfill his dreams. Our prayers go to Terrence and his family as they ask for privacy during this difficult time. “

We hold up Terrence’s loved ones in prayer.
