Caitlyn Jenner recently announced her candidacy for governor of California. During her absence, TMZ caught up with her and asked her for her opinion on legislative considerations banning transgender athletes from competing in certain sports based on their gender identity.
When asked for her thoughts on states trying to exclude students who were biologically born boys and are now transgender girls from competing in girls’ sports, Caitlyn said, “There is a question of fairness. That’s why I dislike biological boys who trans-compete in girls’ sports at school. It’s just not fair and we need to protect girls’ sports in our schools. “
As many of you know, before transitioning to womanhood, Caitlyn Jenner was a decathlon that won Olympic gold medal.
Caitlyn later doubled her stance and responded to the interview on Twitter, saying, “I didn’t expect to be asked about this on my Saturday morning coffee run, but I know where I am. It is a question of fairness and we have to protect girls’ sports in our schools. “

As we previously reported, Caitlyn announced last week that she had filed the papers to run for governor of California.
In a statement, she said, “I am a proven winner and the only underdog who can put an end to Gavin Newsom’s disastrous governor.”
