Biden has Republicans who concern the infrastructure

Republicans thought they could vote no and make Biden’s policies unpopular, but that tactic failed and the GOP cracked.

The New York Times reported, “With the president expressing interest in GOP contributions to his infrastructure plan, Republicans are concerned that Mr. Biden will cut them out of the process again and anger his audience in the Oval Office with them could only be from.” be short-lived in the case of non-partisanship. Still, many are wary of being painted as unwilling negotiators for another major economic package. “

Republicans sell their plan as a serious effort, but it’s difficult to take their proposal seriously if they don’t answer basic questions, such as whether their proposal is new expense and how they would be paid.

The GOP proposal isn’t on the same planet as Biden’s, but the Republican game is the same as it was for decades when a Democratic president was in office.

The Republicans are trying to lure Biden into a lengthy negotiation that takes advantage of his proposal, and then they’ll vote against.

The underlying goal of Congress Republicans is to slow Biden’s recovery. They know their chances of winning will diminish in 2022 and 2024 when the pandemic ends and the economy recovers.

Congressional Republicans are scared because Biden isn’t playing their game. The president set the terms and told Republicans he was open to negotiation, but he will not be released or held hostage.

Republicans have seen what happened to the stimulus plan and they are concerned that Biden will once again pressurize them on the infrastructure.
