Arizona Republican Get together chief requires Trump to betray martial legislation

Arizona Republican Party leader Kelli Ward urged Donald Trump to impose martial law and overthrow the elections.

When Trump supporters suggest he cross the Rubicon, they are telling him to break the Constitution and commit with minimal surrender what could be considered treason if the elections are overturned.

The fact that there are so many Americans ready to end our democracy in order to keep a man in power shows that the threat to democracy will not end with Trump.

The chances of the Republican Party returning to normal with non-Trump candidates running for president in 2024 is approaching zero every day. Trump sets the bar for future Republican candidates in destroying democracy.

Donald Trump was the symptom, not the disease. Removing Trump won’t fix the Republican Party.

The GOP is on a path that will make it a domestic threat to the American system of government. Trump opened the door to authoritarianism and millions of his followers are ready to traverse and end democracy in the United States.
