Horton certainly heard something during this Shane Gillis‘ latest SNL appearance.
After the comedian raised eyebrows for appearing during a Dr. SeussHe addressed his on-air mishap in a Saturday Night Live-themed sketch on October 10.
As he said during the show’s goodnight greeting: “My thanks go to RosaliaAnd I’m sorry about before.”
ICYMI, during the show – Gillis was hosting SNL for the third time – the 38-year-old appeared in a Dr. Seuss sketch entitled “Green Eggs and Ham” in which he played a man named Zachary who tried to stop Sam-I-Am (Andrew Dismukes) from forcing his father (Mikey Day) to eat green eggs and ham.
“Hey! What the hell is wrong with you?” Gillis said on the 8H stage. “My dad says he doesn’t like green eggs and ham. Leave it alone. Go away.”
After Dismukes’ Sam-I-Am argued that his father “might like green eggs and ham,” Gillis responded, “Brother, that’s a nonstarter.”
As Gillis added, before immediately noting the fumbling, “He said he wouldn’t be damned – Christ, like them! Whoa, no!”
