Lil Nas X addresses his mom’s drug dependancy after a viral video of her on a avenue nook in Atlanta – “I cried myself to sleep and felt responsible”

Lil Nas X.

Roommate, for the past few weeks, Lil Nas X has continued to be at the center of controversy over his music and shoes (which have since been pulled) – but now his personal life is being put to the test, especially his relationship with his mother. After posting a viral video showing Lil Nas X’s mom on a street corner in Atlanta, presumably asking for money and / or food, many wondered why he wasn’t helping her and he offered an explanation on social media.

If you’re a fan of Lil Nas X then you know that his next favorite thing after making music seems to be trolling the internet – as this is the place he willingly addresses any gossip he’s involved in. He continued this method by going on Twitter to beat up those who asked why he hadn’t offered financial assistance to his mother, who apparently lived on the street in Atlanta.

He replied to his critics, writing:

“I hate to talk about my personal life, but I don’t know how many nights I cried myself to sleep because I felt guilty that nothing I tried would help my mother. Paint me what you want the bad guy but at the end of the day you don’t know me outside of this internet. “

As we’ve reported earlier, Lil Nas X and his record label Columbia Records claimed on social media earlier this week that his controversial song “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” had been pulled off streaming services.

Fast forward to the present and the song still lingers, but he believes it may not be there for long.
