Justin Bieber ends world tour amid ongoing battle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome
After struggling with his Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis for almost three months, here’s what it looks like Justin Bieber stopped on his world tour.
Bieber’s Justice World Tour kicked off in early February and took an abrupt hiatus after Justin revealed in June that half his face was paralyzed. Despite his diagnosis, Justin promised fans he would take time off and return to the stage as soon as possible. JB performed on stage in Brazil over the weekend in what may have been his last performance in a long time.
After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe to continue the tour. I played six live shows, but it was really, really challenging. Last weekend I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have for the people of Brazil.”
After leaving the stage, exhaustion took over and I realized that I must now make my health a priority. So I’m going to take a break from touring for now. I’m fine, but I need time to rest and get better.”
Justin Bieber previously told fans doctors didn’t have a specific timeline for his recovery as the virus damaged nerves in his ear and face.
I love you, thank you for being patient with me. And um, I’ll get better. and I’m doing all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal and it will be back to normal. It’s only time and we don’t know how long it will be, but it will be alright.
Wish JB a speedy recovery, Roomies!
