Roommates, as we continue to mourn the death of the legendary DMX, his friends and family celebrated his life today at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. It’s been a little over a week since the world was devastated when it learned of DMX’s death. Since then, celebrities, fans and friends have gone online to express their condolences and share fond memories of DMX. Today the culmination of all love became a beautiful ceremony that went off in style. In the hours leading up to DMX’s celebration of life, the streets of NYC were filled with “Ruff Ryders” as fans pulled up next to DMX’s coffin, which was on top of a huge truck labeled “Long Live DMX”. His procession was accompanied by hundreds of motorcycles to pay their respects to Dark Man X! Below is a video of his procession:

At the Barclays Center, family and friends from DMX exchanged on stage, accompanied by Kanye’s ‘Sunday Service’ choir. But one of the most notable eulogies was given by Swizz Beatz, who preached the importance of spreading love when a person is alive and the importance of having a will to avoid people trying to put their hands in their pockets to get stuck when that time comes.
