Erica Mena information for divorce after lower than two years of marriage from Safaree

Roommates, after a whirlwind romance that resulted in lavish celebrations, social media arguments, and two pregnancies, give up Erica Mena and Safaree. Erica has reportedly filed for a divorce from Safaree, according to TMZ court records. The news comes less than two years after the couple tied the knot in 2019.

The divorce papers were filed last Friday in the Fayette County Superior Court in Georgia. Erica is reportedly seeking custody of her daughter Safire, who is now one year old. However, breakout star Love & Hip Hop has reportedly agreed to share Safire’s joint custody with Safaree.

In addition to custody, the documents also touched on the couple’s livelihoods and finances. Erica is reportedly trying to maintain the “exclusive use” of the couple’s home. As you may recall, we recently reported that Erica and Safaree’s home was broken into. Some of her possessions have been stolen, including Safaree’s custom necklace that prominently features a pendant of his daughter’s face. The couple used social media to announce the break-in and offer a cash reward of $ 20,000 to anyone offering information that could lead to arrests.

Erica has also reportedly requested child support for Safaree children. It is unclear whether the payments will apply to both Safire and the unborn child. In early May, the couple announced their second pregnancy together through maternity photos. The images were making their viral rounds at the time, as Erica’s pregnancy was not previously publicly known information. In one of her posts, Erica spoke about God, marriage, and family in the caption.

“Marriage – It’s not easy at all,” wrote Erica. “But having a family of your own makes up for it all. God, thank you for the protection and all of the continual blessings. I’ve been through way too much not to be as grateful as I really am. “

Roommate, what do you think of Erica and Safaree’s separation?
