Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak launch a brand new hashtag on Twitter as they marketing campaign for the 2021 Grammy Awards
Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak entered a new era in their musical careers when they recently teamed up to form the new duo called Silk Sonic. They recently dropped their debut single, and they’re already starting to take to the stage for the music’s biggest night.
On Sunday, the Grammys announced the full list of artists for this year’s awards ceremony. However, those who weren’t there were Bruno and Anderson, who now ride with Silk Sonic. So the duo jumped on Twitter to discuss the matter and launched the hashtag #LetSilkSonicThrive when they tagged the Recording Academy and explained why they should perform.
Wait … are you sure this is real at all? Where did you find that? https://t.co/Ew3e3mwDKA

I don’t think that’s how you get on a show @AndersonPaak, and that’s a pretty long hashtag, but I rock with you. #LetSilkSonicThrive https://t.co/ztZyV2T8Yk

Fans even participated in the hashtag, vouching for why Silk Sonic had to be included on the cast list for this year’s Grammy Awards show.
Bruno then wrote a very funny but serious message to the recording academy saying, “If you can use your heart to allow two unemployed musicians to perform on your show, we would really appreciate it. We just released a song and we could really use the promotion now. “
He continued, “We haven’t been able to perform for a while and we just want to sing. We will send in an audition tape and do as many Covid tests as we need. “

In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Bruno and Anderson revealed that they had teamed up during the studio quarantine and the next thing they knew they had an entire album.
When it comes to their group’s name, they revealed that they were actually named by the legendary Bootsy Collins who actually does the narration for their upcoming project.
